Ruka Sanusi is currently the Executive Director of the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre, a pioneering cleantech and green business incubator housed at Ashesi University and funded through a grant from the Global Affairs Canada. A skillful management consultant professional with over 20 years of international consulting experience in the UK and Africa, Ruka conveys a deep knowledge of matters pertinent to business management, strategy development and organizational transformation. Her sectors of experience include international development, government and public sector, banking and finance, health, education, as well as sustainability and climate change.
Prior to joining GCIC, Ruka served as the Founder and Principal of Alldens Lane, a boutique business strategy consulting firm which has a unique focus on providing business advisory services and executive business coaching to women-owned and women-led businesses in Africa’s small and growing business sector. Before founding Alldens Lane, Ruka served as part of the senior management team at one of the world’s leading accounting and professional services rm, Pricewater House Coopers (PwC) Ghana and Nigeria for over a decade, where she led the Strategy & Operations consulting unit, advising clients within a multiplicity of sectors in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia as well as Nigeria. Ruka also worked with the global corporation, Crown Agents in the UK. She was part of their international consulting team, serving clients in Africa and the Caribbean. Ruka advised governments, public sector organizations and private corporations on international projects and assignments in 16 sub-Saharan African countries. She has a global outlook in business, as she has worked in countries like the United Kingdom, Tanzania, Ghana and Nigeria.
