Professional experience:
5 years of dedicated service in waste managment in Ghana as the Founder and Executive Director of Environment360 , a successful NGO that has successfully executed sustainable waste managment projects in urban and coastal communities Greater Accra and Kumasi. As the Executive Director the following achievements have been realised
  • Creation of the first successful community plastic collection program in Accra
  • Development of first waste picker run sorting center in West Africa
  • Successful partnership with local and national agencies as the recycling coordinator for the city of Accra
  • Raised over GHS 2 million in investment in the environmental sector during the past five years
  • Collection of 200 MT of plastic and 300 metric tons of paper in the past three years
  • Launch of the first PET buy back initiative in Ghana
  • 5 years of public policy and public relations experience spanning both the public and private sector including working on the United States Congress Committee on Homeland Security and the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee, the governing body of the largest electrical union in the United States
